The Missile Launcher Control Unit (MLCU) controls the other electronic units of the launcher, establishes the communication between the missile and the platform, provides the necessary electrical and communication interfaces for the maintenance of the missiles and launcher, and performs the necessary power conversion and distribution functions for all such operations. The MLCU ensures that all operations are carried out safely, from the inventory report of the launcher to the firing of the missile, as well as updating procedures.
